The Biological and Small Molecule Mass Spectrometry Core (BSMMSC) houses eight mass spectrometers and multiple computer workstations for data analysis. The core provides project consultations as well as analytical services from sample preparation to data interpretation.

The support shops in the Department of Chemistry provide a variety of services to faculty, staff, and students within the department. Glassblower

Our professional glassblower has over 35 years’ experience in fabricating and repairing scientific glass. Prior to joining the Department of Chemistry, Eddie (Bo) Bishop spent more than 20 years working for Wilmad-LabGlass where he began as an apprentice in 1984. Bishop leverages his skills and experience to create both traditional and custom items for UT researchers.
