FIRST YEAR

STUDENTS

Welcome to the UT Department of Chemistry.

Students engage with our department as majors and minors, but many undergraduate students will take chemistry courses as a part of their general education requirements, or as part of earning a degree in another program.

We know that our students come to us with a range of experience and knowledge, and we want do all we can to ensure that each of them succeeds.

To support our students in doing their best work and getting the best grade possible we have provided a series of resources, linked in the sidebar menu.

We encourage all of our students to follow us on social media, where we post about our students and faculty, university and department events, and important dates for general chemistry students.
