The inorganic division focuses on synthesis and characterization of both finite transition metal complexes and solid-state materials. On the synthesis side, we have faculty who investigate homogenous catalysis and transition metal complexes. On the characterization side, we have faculty who focus on collaborating with national labs to develop new magnetic materials and solid-state materials for separations.
