ANALYTICAL

CHEMISTRY

The analytical division offers research opportunities in instrumentation and measurement science with the current focus on more complete sampling and robust characterization of complex biological systems and volume-limited samples. The division has faculty who specialize in spectroscopy, ion mobility spectrometry, and metabolomics. Many of our analytical research groups participate in collaborative projects with faculty in the UT biology department, medical schools, and scientists at ORNL.
